Things that plague on my mind

Several things bother me at the moment, some are little and probably not worth thinking about, all are slightly silly, (depending on who you ask I guess) and all are concerning me at the moment.

Firstly I am really starting to hate this town, theres not a lot I can do here, it looks like a dump, my friends all live at least 15 minute drive from me (which is a lot seeing as it isn't that easy to get to them, I need a parent or someone to drive me), I just want to leave.

I hate that the majority of my friends have gone to uni, I have very few friends around here now and they're (like said above) all a distance away. Yes my friends will come back for holidays but that's not great or nice that I am lonely at the moment and that they aren't here to cheer me up.

I want to go on a date. I haven't been on one in so long, but the problem is that I actually haven't met anyone I would remotely want to go on a date with. I want someone new to pop a long and ask me.

I want money, I need a job but after working in music zone (which is now closing down) I don't want to work anywhere that I will dislike, I really like MZ and the people, I think another job will be a disappointment, so it makes me wary (which is crap that I think that way).

I'm having a fat day, a spotty day, a bastarding fashion disator day, my hair looks shite and all I want to do is eat.

I'm owed a lot of money as well, £455 in total ($900, yeah i know, wowzer) and it seems that people are purposely giving it to me in small chunks so it feels like it's falling through my fingers.

Anyway moaning over.

Found out today that my contract with music zone ends on christmas eve :( and unfortunetly I won't be getting a perminent job. Oh well I knew it was a temp job, but it's still kinda sad.

However I will be looking forward to australia in Feburary, so it's all good.

I think it's time for a life overhaul, I'm gonna be the quintessential 80's child, I'm gonna start a new wave a brat pack, When I walk into a room people are gonna hear Gary Numan playing in their heads (obviously because they've gone crazy by seeing someone as cool and retro as me), Madonna, Debby Harry, Cyndi Lauper, Kate Bush won't have shit on me by the time I'm finished. One day I'll walk out dressed all New Romantic, the next I'll look like I came straight from Dynasty, weekends I'll wear off the sholder tops with chunky belts on my waist and leg warmers with my pointy toed dogstooth patterned stilleto's.

Note to self:- Stop watching the following- Footloose, Breakfast club, Flashdance, Ghost, Ferris beullers day off, The lost boys, Pretty in pink, Weird Science, Sixteen candles, etc etc you get the picture.

Today I sacked off college, not because I was ill, but because I was beyond tired, I've been working so many hours this week, and along with college I barely have time to sleep let alone socialise. I miss my free time, I miss being able to laze about and do what I please, ho hum it's only a temp job, so I may not have it after christmas. But then again they did say they have permanent jobs going after. So I can't have it both ways can I, keep a job comprimise my free time, have not job and have no money, but have free time.

Maybe I'll win the lottery, then I wouldn't have to work.

Work makes my feet ache, but I don't mind because I like it. By the end of the week I'm gonna have done 24 hours and that's over £100 for the week. When I worked at morrisons I'd get £150 for the month.

All in all I should have enough money to go and see my friend Claire in New Zealand about mid January. Auckland here I come(hopefully).

Take pity on me for I was sick in college, and had to come home. In a college hallway, not even the toilet, I didn't make it that far. And because I was on the top floor the first aider made me take the disabled lift down (the only lift). Yes I did have a first aider look after me, not entirely sure why, I only threw up I didn't cut my hand off or anything drastic.

On another note it's my first day of work tomorrow, I hope I still don't feel rough, but I can't not go in on my first day. Bloody catch 22 situations.

I'm really hungry right now, but I fear eating, I haven't ate since lunch, all I had since was a hot chocolate and water, both of which decided to leave my stomach and head towards carpet and pavement.

It's funny in a very unfunny way.

I bhaven't drawn a picture in ages, I've sketched pictures, but no full out drawings for weeks now, it's like all my inspiration is gone, I really want to start taking pictures again, some on film but it's so expensive now, so so much dearer than digital I mean I can get hard copies of my digital picture for like 10p a picture, yet 24 picture from film (which all have to be developed) is £5, I could get 50 digi prints from that. However I may buy myself a lomo kompakt, that would inspire me to take as many film pictures as possible, but lomo kompakts are really dear, £130ish for there standard pack. But I may ask for some help towards one for christmas.

Onto other points I really want a graphics tablet, but it's really hard to find one that does a4 sized drawing boards, all I can find are somewhere between a6 and a5, so it's not awfully big.

As well as that I can't stop myself watching the mighty boosh, I've developed a crush on Noel Fielding over the past few weeks, he's just hot whatever he wears and for all who have seen it will know that that can be absolutely anything. Oh wait he's not hot when he dresses up as old greg with his Mangina but that is hella funny.

I don't really know the point of this post, but it's been a while since I made one, I'm gonna try and use livejournal a little more.

And for anyone who does read this and is familar with my work (drawing and photography), do you think I should make a online portfolio? It'd only be for fun because as you can probably tell I am not a professional
